Special Orders
As there are so many accessories available for Land Rovers, it would be impossible to stock everything. Should you require an item that is not on our site, we will endeavour to manufacture it for you. Or add it to one of our shipments that come from the U.K. Delivery is generally 2 to 4 weeks depending on stock availability from the UK suppliers. Some of the special items we have imported are; Internal and External roll cages, Diff Lockers and Limited Slip Differentials for both the Defender and Discoveries, Special wheels and Tyres and more.

Can I check the status of an order I placed?
We will send you an order acknowledgement email promptly after receiving your order on the web site, so you get verification that your order was properly received. We will also send you a shipment confirmation email when your order leaves our store and is on its way to you. Order status can be checked on-line. What does Expedition Gear do with back orders?
Because we are a manufacturer and distributor we carry a huge amount of inventory. Sometimes however, an item will be in short supply, due to overwhelming demand. You will be notified if an order cannot ship in a timely manner. Except for Special Orders and some Drop Shipments we will not charge your credit card for orders, which have not been shipped.
Does Expedition Gear ship orders to customers outside South Africa?
Yes we do ship to customers outside South Africa. You will informed on placing the order the final shipping charges to your country.
Does Expedition Gear use a secure server for my orders?

Yes! Expedition Gear is committed to protecting our customer's privacy. We do retain some information to be able to serve our customers better. What information do we retain? For each visitor to our web site, our web server automatically recognizes and retains the visitor's domain name. Information about page usage is gathered, which allows us to determine overall site usage patterns. Other data such as order information and specific visitor requests may be stored in user-specific file. Certain information must be provided by the customer to properly complete orders and deliver to the correct address. This information is retained to expedite future orders. What do we do with this information? The information is primarily used to improve our site for the purpose of better serving our valued customers. Occasionally we will use the information to send our customers an e-mail announcement.
